Born in Port of Spain Trinidad and raised in Guyana, Daniel immigrated with his then wife Bano to Canada in 1972, where he pursued a diverse and fulfilling life welcoming his son Sean in 1974 later joined by his adopted children Nalini and Haimant. Over the years, he explored careers in real estate, import/export, and the restaurant industry, but found his true calling in education. Starting as a lab technologist, he later became a beloved teacher—his greatest passion—working at Robotech Institute and later at Anderson College.
He is survived by his partner, Nancy, and his son, Sean. He will be deeply missed by Bano, Suresh, Chandra, Mona, his brothers Zafarullah, Karimulla , and his sister Fazeelah. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and countless friends who cherished his warmth, wisdom, and generosity.
