It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Satnarine (Sat) Ramsarran Maraj, who departed this life on April 29, 2025, at the age of 81. He passed peacefully at Brampton Civic Hospital, surrounded by the love of his family.
Born on December 17, 1943, in Couva, Trinidad and Tobago, Satnarine lived a life marked by love, resilience and deep devotion to his family. He was the cherished only son of the late Phulo and Ramsarran Maraj and the son-in-law of the late Pundit and Mrs. Dinanath Maharaj.
He is lovingly remembered by his beloved wife, Latchmin; his daughters, Goomtie and Gaitrie; his son, Ravi; his son-in-law, Vedesh; his daughter-in-law, Deetee; his ex-son-in-law, Ken; and his cherished grandchildren, Aneela, Jaya, Aadi and Leeya.
He will be remembered for the love he gave, the wisdom he shared and the strength with which he lived. His memory will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
