Arthur Vinton Duvernais of Etobicoke, died July 07th 2025, at the Etobicoke General Hospital.

He was born on May 17th 1934, to Renee Duvernais in St Lucia.

He attended RC boys primary school and then attended St Lucia police academy.

He married MaryAnna Duvernais on December 22nd 1979 and they had 3 children, Junior Duvernais, Daniel Duvernais and Rachael Duvernais.

He worked as a baker for 30 years, then as a port police for another 13 years, and retired from Air and Sea Port Authority.

He enjoyed watching soccer and cricket, he also loved listening to oldies and western music.

Arthur Vinton Duvernais is survived by MaryAnna Duvernais, Daniel Duvernais, Rachael Duvernais. His children: Morella Issidore, Elizabeth Issidore, Lista Issidore and Marie Hilaire and his stepchildren: Therese James and Monica Tolan.

He was preceded in death by his mother Renee Duvernais, son: Junior Duvernais, stepdaughter Jeannice Eugene.

Visitation will be on July 19th 2025 at 6pm at Lotus funeral and Cremation Centre Inc, 121 Cityview Drive Toronto, ON M9W 5A8

Funeral services will be July 19th at 6pm at the funeral home where service will be held with Bishop David Green officiating.

Interment will be at the Lotus Crematorium.
