In Loving Memory of Narendra Kumar Parekh
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Narendra Kumar Parekh, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, on July 18, 2025, surrounded by his cherished family.
A devoted husband, Naren shared a lifelong partnership of deep love and laughter with his wife, Panna Parekh. Together, they explored the world, finding joy in travel and in every new adventure. His greatest treasures, though, were his children (Asha and Reena), his sons-in-law (Manish and Ashvin) and his grandchildren (Shail, Tanay, Aryan and Ahana). Naren lived for time spent with family — his love, guidance, and unwavering support enriched every generation.
A true family man, Naren embodied dedication and hard work throughout his life. He was always the first to help anyone in need, offering his kindness with an open heart and a smile. His generosity and loyalty touched countless lives, leaving a legacy of compassion and service.
Music was another great joy for Naren. The timeless melodies of Mukesh resonated within him, and he was often found singing classic Bollywood songs, sharing his love for music with his family and friends. Whether it was a soulful tune or an impromptu karaoke night, his voice brought warmth and light to all who heard it.
Another passion of Naren's was watching ice hockey — he was a proud and steadfast supporter of the Toronto Maple Leafs, cheering them on through every season. His enthusiasm and optimism, both for his team and in life, were contagious.
Naren possessed an indomitable spirit, a generous heart, and a zest for life. He will be sorely missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him. May he find eternal peace.
The family kindly requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be considered to Trillium Health Partners Foundation in his memory, so that others in the community may also be supported and cared for.
Om Shanti.
