Obituary of Harry Charran Das
Harry Charran Das, born on January 1, 1953, in Guyana, passed away peacefully on August 3, 2025, at the age of 72, following a Satsang. He was surrounded by his loving family in Scarborough and online. He is survived by his beloved Theresa, their four children: Adrian (Dolly), Kavetia, Samantha (Mark), and Amanda (Sashan); and seven grandchildren: Katelyn, Tiffany, Brandon, Savannah, Alexander, Lucas, and Anastasia. He was predeceased by his parents, Maywah and Dhanpatie Das. He will be deeply missed by his nine siblings and their spouses, as well as his many nieces, nephews, their children, extended family, and friends, who brought him so much joy.
The family extends a special thank you to the compassionate team at Lakeridge Health and Scarborough General hospitals for their care.
Friends and family are invited to attend the visitation and service at Lotus Funeral and Cremation Centre on Saturday, August 9, from 1-4 p.m. For those unable to attend in person, the service will be streamed online via Zoom (ID: 845 4625 2556, Password: Harry).
