Siew Khoon Khoon
December 19, 1948 – August 10, 2025



It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Siew Khoon Khoon, lovingly known as “Pacy” and “Bucket,” on August 10, 2025, surrounded by his family. He was 76 years old.

Born Seulal Boodram in Trinidad, to Khoon Khoon Boodram and Bhagwantie, Siew was the third youngest of eight brothers and two sisters. In honour of his father, he later changed his name to Siew Khoon Khoon.



In 1974, Siew married his devoted wife, Kamlawatie. Together, they shared 51 years of love, partnership, and teamwork. While they often had different opinions, they always stood united on what mattered most. At age 40, Siew made the courageous decision to emigrate to Canada with his family, working various jobs and eventually spending over 20 years as a forklift driver.



Cricket was Siew’s greatest passion. A skilled player and later an umpire, he was deeply respected within the cricket community, where he formed lifelong friendships.



Siew will be remembered as a man of few words whose actions spoke volumes. He was steadfast in his love for his family, especially his grandchildren, with whom he shared his gentlest side.



He is survived by his loving wife, Kamlawatie; children Rishi (Tobi), Ravi (Sarah), and Rehanna (Tony); grandchildren Isabel, Devi, Logan, Ronin, and Remy; and many extended family members and friends. 

Siew’s strength, humour, and quiet wisdom will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
