Obituary of Oswald Frank

Born: Nov. 9th, 1931, Mamuslia, Romania, a farmer's son.
Passed: Aug. 9th, 2025, Etobicoke, Ontario, peacefully in his garden 

Oswald was a simple man from simple means.

Born on his father's farm in Romania during the depression, Oswald grew up by humbly. WWII came along and forced his father and older male siblings to war and the rest of the family to what he called the "wagon train", refugees heading to Germany and then eventually Canada, where my father met my mother, Laila nee Fors (r.i.p.) at a dance.

Oswald worked hard his entire life to provide for his family. His greatest joy was the house that he built, his garden and the fruits of his labours.

He was a loving father to his daughter Paula Rose, and adopted son Alfred and adopted daughter Doris.

Please join us, family, friends and neighbours for a short servive for Oswald prior to his cremation.

For those that can not attend on August 23, 2025 there will be a short celebration of life and apple tree dedication for Oswald on Sunday, August 24th, 2025 in his backyard from 13:00 p.m. to 16:00 p.m.
