It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Bibi Nazira Muntazali of Brampton, Ontario, Canada. Bibi passed away peacefully on October 30, 2025 surrounded by loved ones.

Bibi was a beloved and dedicated mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She was known for her infectious laugh, hard working nature and fierce independence. Bibi was an inspiration to all those blessed with her presence. Her spirit and sheer will to face any obstacle in front of her were unmatched. Her family remembers her as one of the strongest people they’ve ever known.

Born in 70 Village, Corentyne, Guyana, Bibi was the eldest daughter to Muntaz and Nazlyn, elder sister to Baytee (Bibi Shaira), the late Shaw (Bibi Inayat), Buddy (Liaquat Ali), Bacho (Bibi Nazra), the late Mayo (Bibi Azeema), and Paiya (Ashraf Ali). She was the cherished mother to Ramdass (deceased), Narine, Datto, Shanti and Kris, grandmother to 17 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

May her soul attain moksha.
