It is with deep sadness that the family of Sucilla Ramgoolam announces her passing on October 31, 2025, at the age of 78.  She died peacefully, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in 1946, Sucilla was the daughter of the late Balram and Sirjudaye Singh. She grew up in San Fernando, Trinidad with her 10 siblings – Lela, Romat, Shampatee, and the late Gautum, Suni, Rambhi, Tarzan, Doya, Amar and Auby.   She was a devoted wife to her husband, Gunness Ramgoolam, of 51 years with whom she shared 2 children.

Sucilla was the heart of her family, a loving mother to Aruna and Reshma, and a cherished grandmother to Rhea, Shane, Deven, Aryana and Ronan. She was known for her strength, kindness and loving nature.  Her home was a place of warmth and love, and she will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
