Arthur Granatstein passed peacefully at his home on December 15, 2025. Born on November 13, 1930, Arthur lived a long and meaningful life and will be remembered for his deep appreciation of life’s pleasures.

Arthur had a deep love of music, especially jazz and opera, and greatly enjoyed playing bridge and tennis. He also had a passion for fine food and wine.

He is survived by his daughter, Dyanne Cardozo (née Granatstein) and son, Martin Granatstein; his grandchildren, Neil and his partner Melissa, Christopher and his partner Sabrina, Matthew and his partner Tamara, Morgan and her partner Adam; and his great-grandchildren, Logan, Rachel, Stella, Sofia, Silas, and Isabel.

Arthur’s memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
