I remembered Henry as a sportsman in the game of Cricket. His willingness to always find space in his car for one more passenger when travelling between Vreed en Hoop and Anna Catherina. He was such a prankster, teasing the neighborhood children with his raw sense of humor. His love for family and friends will always be remembered. Henry aka “Mass”, RIP.

Words cannot express our sorrow. Sending strength and comfort as your family navigates this loss.
A memory I will always hold on to is when I was twelve years old and I didn’t want to go to school. Henry started chasing me around, however he couldn’t catch me. -Lawrence
Sending our love and prayers to the Harnandan family.
From Lawrence Joseph and his family.

My sincere condolences to my aunty Patsy, and to my cousins Jackie and Priscilla during this difficult time. Uncle Henry will be deeply missed. I will always remember how he would walk over to Rona, where one of my daughters worked, asking the staff for her with that warm, unforgettable smile.
He truly understood and cherished the meaning of family. I often think of that summer gathering in the backyard — a day filled with his joy at having everyone together. His brothers and sisters were there, along with their children, my cousins, and their children. Three generations surrounded us, and with the presence of my grandson, a fourth generation joined the circle. Even the sudden thunder showers couldn’t take away the happiness of that day. I remember how proud and content he was to share that time with all of us.
We will surely miss your physical presence, but spiritually you will always remain in our consciousness forever.

My dearest Big Brother,
In a home filled with many children,
life carried us along different paths in our early years.
Yet as time unfolded and we grew into ourselves,
we found our way back to one another.
What we built then was a true sibling bond —
quiet, steady, and shaped by love, respect,
and the kind of understanding that only time can teach.
The moments our families shared together
became blessings I hold close to my heart.
I will miss you deeply, my big Brother.
May you rest in peace,
held in the warmth of every memory you leave behind.
To my sister-in-law Patsy, and to my nieces, Jackie and Priscilla,
My heartfelt condolences.
May you each find comfort in the love He gave,
and in the strength of the memories you carry.
