Q: What will you never forget about Sewcharran?
A: For as long as I can remember, my memories of Uncle Sew are of a strong-hearted, happy man who, despite the hardships he faced, always wore the biggest smile. Uncle Sew built a beautiful legacy and a loving family, and he will be missed dearly.
This was the last time I saw Uncle Sew—August 17, 2019—at my going-away gathering before leaving for school in Australia. I was so happy and grateful that he took the time to be there and celebrate with me. I will forever cherish this memory and the many others I saw through my eyes as a child. Especially those of running around his family home with my brothers, sisters and cousins-memories I often reminisce on and know we all cherish. ♥️
