Obituary of Nandlal Lutchmi-Persad
With deep love and sorrow, we announce at the age of 74, the peaceful passing of Nandlal (Ken) Lutchmi-Persad, on January 25th 2026 in Brampton, Ontario.
He was born on August 11th, 1951 in Debe, Trinidad and Tobago to Lutchmi and Indrawatti Persad.
He is lovingly remembered by his wife Gloria, Children Sherman, Marlon, Jenene and Darryl, Grandchildren Kristina, Jamal, Anthony, Olivia, Ameila, Great-grandchildren Alaina and Damian and Siblings Merlin, Camille, Tony, Jenny, and Sheldon.
Throughout his life, Ken was known for his kindness, strength, humour, devotion to his family, generosity, and larger than life personality.
He lived with a quiet spirituality, finding meaning in love, family, and the simple moments of life. He believed in doing everything with a clean heart, being fair, and caring deeply for others.
A Hindu prayer service and cremation will be held on Sunday February 1st, 2026 at Lotus Funeral and cremation centre inc. The family thanks all who have offered prayers, love, and support.
