The death is announced of Somwatie Devi Gaj also known as Nalin Gaj, age 63, of Canada and formerly of No.2 village East Canjie Berbice, Guyana. She was born on the 3rd of November in 1957 and died on 7th August 2020.
She was the daughter of the late Bodo and Doreen Kowladath. She was the loving wife of Sherriff Gaj.
Mother of: Simla Jagoo, Chandra Latchmiah, Susan Sagadaya, Munesh Gaj, Benita Gaj and, Robin Gomes.
Grandmother of: Tinesha, Manisha, Raj, Alvin, Christopher, Lisa and, 9 others.
She was the sister of: Jocelyn, Ero, Rado, the late Bolonath and, Suresh.
Mother-in-law of: Bahadur Jagoo, Suresh Latchmiah, Navin Sagadaya, Micheal Persaud, Amna and, Christie.
Niece of: Datalene and others. Cousin of Gaiyo and others.
Somwatie lived a simple life where she loved her family with a passion. She always had a smile on her face. Life will never be the same without her and will forever remain in our hearts. She will be dearly missed by her entire family and friends. May her kind soul rest in peace.
