"That was a great life" . That is how my supervisor responded when i informed him of Puphu's passing. I said she was a great lady.
Our Puphu was a kind, decent and loving person among all the other beautiful things others will say of her.
In the face of all the hardships in her life, she raised a good family, including her nephews and nieces. Her courage still inspires us and is something we can tell our children about. I know we all used look forward to her visits at Mahaicony so much. Those were some of the happiest times for us. She always brought us bananas. I remember going to spend holidays at Mahaica and her giving Buddy Dio and me money to buy crush ice. There are sooooo many good memories of Puphu we all talk about when we get together as brothers and sisters
To my Cous Vido you have all of our gratitude for taking care of Puphu. I am sure it must have been very difficult at times but you did it with patience and gave our Puphu the dignity she so much deserved. Our blessings to you.
Puphu you left us physically but you will live forever in our hearts and memories.
My first thought upon hearing of Puphu' s passing was our Dad waiting with open arms smiling and saying "Diddi come sit down and rest" and God knows she deserves it.
