It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of the beloved Savitry (Dolly) Singh.
Daughter of the late Tilackdharry Singh & Rukmin Singh. Sister of the late Balack Bahadur Singh, Sugrim Singh, Partab Singh, Walter Raghubir Singh, Sasenarine Singh, Harold Lalbahadur Singh, Babe Sugrimsingh, Betty Singh, and Brahaspatie Singh.
Survived by her loving sister Chandroutie (Shelia) Persaud, Dolly was a sister, aunt, grandmother, and above all caregiver to so many. Born in Guyana, Savitry worked as a school teacher and cared for her mother before emigrating to Canada in 1989 where she resided with her nephew's family: Rohan, Nalini, Robin and Devin.
She extended her kindness and generosity to everyone she met, and she will be remembered as always going out of her way to assist those in need. Nothing made her happier than spending time with her family and loved ones.
The funeral will be held on Monday, October 12 at 12:30 pm at Lotus Funeral Home and Cremation Centre
