From the Maraj family to the Persaud Family, our sincerest condolences on the lost of our dear brother and friend Avi. As my dear friend (Avi’s sister) and my namesake Shobha puts it – there has been nothing but love and respect between our families. Avi – you know that you were the son my mom never had. She loves you so much! She remembers when you guys were younger how you would sit for hours and ‘gaff’ with her at the Ajax house. You were always there for her. When she had the Yagnas, or parties, you were there, with your sound system set up and ready. Our family and friends, all over Toronto, New York and Florida would come for the Caribana weekend just to attend the boat cruises. We will miss you for sure… You will forever be in our hearts.
To Vicky and the girls, We send your our heartfelt condolences. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. May memories Avi and the love of family surround you and give you strength in the days ahead.

Avi, saying goodbye to you was one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do. I pray that you will achieve eternal peace. You were my brother and one of my dearest friends. The highlight of my summers is no more. I will miss your amazing voice, your cheerful laugh and your overall stupidness and wickedness. Sincere Condolences to Avinash's family. His wife kids, brothers and sisters, father and all extended family members. As is known Avinash was that rare and special person that you were fortunate to have encounter during your lifetime. He was also a blessed person for accomplishing his dream. (DJ Splash). How many of us have dreams of doing something and never achieved it. I knew Avi in his late teen years when he was DJing in Guyana. He was massive then and I am so proud of what he accomplished for himself. With loving memories to cherish. God's blessings.
