Obituary of Audrey Marina Asamoah
Please share a memory of Audrey to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
The precious life of our dearly beloved Ms. Audrey Marina Asamoah will be celebrated in love.
Born in Annotto Bay, St. Mary, Jamaica, on the 15th day of March 1935. Ms. Audrey Asamoah, also known as “Fay”/” Aunt Fay” was regarded the “Studious One” and the oh so “Fashionably Stated One”. Characterized as one who spoke her mind, her transparent and direct approach was found suitable to those who could handle “her truth”; which meant, she spoke as she saw it to be. Matriarch of the Asamoah family, our beautiful, strong willed and determined mother, bid her farewell on Wednesday, November 25th, 2020.
Born into the lineage of Cyril Lucius Patterson and Louise Vivienne Constable-Patterson, she leaves behind, 4 children, 5 siblings’ in total: 3 predeceased, 5 grandchildren, and a beautiful host of cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Our beloved mother, embodied grace, strength, and resiliency in the most admirable way. As intriguing, complex and dimensional as she was, she possessed a heart that appealed when the call to serve beckoned.
A graduate from the University of Toronto, she excelled as an astute and successful Physiotherapist for many years.
Her presence will be missed most certainly. Her life, her essence and boisterous laugh could fill the void in any room, she is “mother” a testament of God’s blessed handiwork. In Loving Memory.
