Obituary of Drooptee Persaud

Please share a memory of Drooptee to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Tribute to Drooptee Persaud Mishra. Sincere and deepest condolences to the family of Drooptee Persaud Mishra. The passing of Drooptee, well known as Sumintra and lovingly known as mom, maa, aaji, nanie, grandma and auntie Sum will create a void in the lives of many. Tragically she lost her husband in her early thirties making her a widow and forcing her to become mother and father to her ten children. She performed her duties diligently and selflessly. She was fiercely loyal and protective of her family and did any and everything possible in her power and capability to make them happy. Drooptee was an illuminating light to many in the village of Clonbrook and to the occupants of 1375 Midland Avenue. She was a devout Hindu and had a beautiful voice which was showcased in large and small gatherings, singing at birthdays, nine-day celebrations, weddings, or funerals. She helped many, loved to matchmake and freely blessed those she loved. May her Soul rest in Peace. Tara, Sanjay, Rajni and the entire family of Dolly and Tulsie Singh. Please be advised about the temporary limitation of funeral services in GTA, as per the following link: https://thebao.ca/registrars-directive-bao-additional-restrictions-for-bereavement-sector/ Our building will be able to accommodate the following under these guidelines set out by the Bereavement Authority of Ontario (BAO) and Public Health.
