Dearest Teze Mazes- I know that you will never read this message but it gives me tranquility knowing that I took a few moments to recognize you in my mind not only as an aunt but a human being.. In the 65 years that you spent on this earth, anyone that ever met you can attest to my affirmations. You were absolutely the most humble, kind and caring person. You had a heart of gold and the mind to match. Yes, indeed, you had several obstacles in your path, yet you conquered them all like a champ!!! You sacrificed your alone time making sure that everyone else was well and happy. Your own mind, body and soul were diminishing, but you were concerned about the well being of everyone that you knew near and far, both family and friends; you called us ALL, all the time to make sure that we were doing well.. meanwhile you were the one struggling.. You have a beautiful son and two amazing daughters that were the world to you, and you to them.. Allah chooses who we become the mothers to and you were the best and most perfect match to your son Arben.. when he looked you in the eyes, his ENTIRE world lit up.. you raised him with love, patience, kindness and understanding.. Stress hurts, depression even more, you accepted life’s imperfections, once again you proved to be a hero, even a legend in my eyes. I couldn’t make it to your funeral as I was looking after your mother, and it breaks my heart imagining how she would feel in her right mind knowing that you didn’t have a chance to say goodbye to her. On that note, I say goodbye to you, until we meet again.. may you Rest In Eternal Peace, as you deserve. You are no longer suffering and I know that you will forever be in paradise, where the human mind can’t even comprehend how beautiful your hereafter will be!
