Obituary of Samaroo Rohan Boodhoo

Samaroo Rohan Boodhoo Dec 11 1944- March 3 2021 It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Sam Rohan Boodhoo Rohan was a man of many passions- He enjoyed having people over, friends and Family, entertaining in his bar, the bar he built with his hand his pride and joy. Rohan was a “jack of all trades” and spent countless hours working in his garden. He was a great dancer, loved chutney music especially the song “Lotti Lal” Rohan is the son of Boohdoo and Deokie, The loving brother of Mohan, Lall, Savie, Kamal, Prem, Seeta, Daata,Sunna, Rannie and Krishna Rohan was an accomplished tailor in Guyana. He moved to Canada in Aug 1971, where he married Leila on July 22, 1974 in Canada. One of his most cherished memory was being awarded in 2010 for his residential garden winner by the Mayor of Brampton Rohan is survived by his loving partner of 46 years Leila Boodhoo, His Children, Desh, Sakita and Vinay his Daughter-in-law Colleen and his 3 grandchildren Deshon (24), Jasmine(13) Amias (6 days old). Rohan spent most of his career working at Mount Sinai hospital where he made lifelong friendships and cherished his opportunities. He wonderfully touched the lives of everyone in his life. Rohan, you will truly be missed.
