Rehastra Jill Ramdin, nee Jagdeo
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Arnold and Pearlie Jagdeo announce the untimely passing of their beloved daughter Rehastra. At the tender age of 53, Rehastra answered heaven’s calls and is now walking alongside the angels. Heaven gained a heart of gold – a caring and kind soul. She was a woman of uncommon grace; living her dream with quiet resolve and generosity of spirit. She touched the hearts of so many along the way.
Rehastra will be forever loved and cherished by her siblings Shahastra, Dharmendra and Camille. Precious aunty of Imran, Rahaad, Justin and Selena Sadly missed by many much-loved cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.
Rehastra’s greatest passion was reading and listening to U2. She had a love for life and a great sense of humor. Her generosity could only be outdone by her modesty, understated elegance, intellect and smart wit.
We may not understand why she left this earth so soon, or why she left before we were ready to say goodbye, but little by little we begin to remember that her life gave us memories too precious to forget.
The viewing will be held on Friday, June 11, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 pm at Lotus Funeral Home located at 121 City View Dr, Etobicoke, ON M9W 5A8
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at 8:00 am followed by cremation. On behalf of the Jagdeo family, we thank everyone for their support and sympathies.
