We were great friends from the time we joined the bank. Mutually attended each other's weddings. I attended his father's funeral, lending a shoulder to carry him to crematorium. I knew his family well, brother , sister in law and the little talkative son . But then a long hiatus , only hearing some news about him coming from colleagues that he shifted to Canada from Gulf with family. I had no clue he was ill. A very salubrious, extrovert endearing personality he had and quickly made friends by his open nature. As I found my solace shelter and sanctuary in Iskcon to the imponderables of life , I found myself being isolated from the batchmates . I increasingly was drawn into Bhakti yoga based on Gita teachings which resonated with my aching heart, I started actively exposing my spirituality to draw my friends into accepting this solution. But soon I found myself in a new circle of intimate devotees who were not my bank friends and bankers became quite alienated from me. The few close friends who include Manikumar too retracted from my association. I will regret till the end that I could not somehow find the right connect with them to offer them this amazing panacea of life. I pray to Lord Krishna that he will help this wonderful soul and his bereaved family to connect with Him and thus find ultimate bliss of eternal existence. KS SUBRAMANIAN

I cannot believe you are no longer with us. You have been with me through my thick and thin. In early days we have spent such amazing time together in Calcutta. Then when you Came to Mumbai for higher studies and were staying with us in Krishna Ashram..those were really great days. Even in my struggling days in Dubai, i lived with you and Manni ,and you guys provided all the support...our 20 yrs in Dubai is filled with all those memories.. I am still not able to believe this...Mani Anna..U will be missed...Om Shanthi !!!
