Joan A. Davis (nee Smith), affectionately known simply as Anne, passed away surrounded by family on October 29th, 2021. She was born on March 27, 1959, in the parish of St. Mary. The daughter of mother Jean Brown and father Carlton Smith of Islington, Jamaica. Wife of her predeceased husband, Clyde Davis. Sister to Stanley, Barrington, Roy Jr., Susan, Carlton Smith (predeceased) and Mark Brown. Loving mother to (Franklin) Bobby, Jamie, Niesha and Lisa Davis; devoted Grandmother to Bentley, Nolan, Morgan, Jordan, Phoenix and Griffin. Survived by an extended family of sisters and brothers in faith, nieces, nephews and many great-grand nieces and nephews. Anne was an angel to most and a friend to many. She brought a light into the lives of those who had the grace of knowing her and will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Viewing and funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 13th from 12 noon - 2 pm at Humberlea Worship Centre - 6807 Steeles Ave. West, Etobicoke, Ontario. Immediately following, the burial service will take place at Beechwood Cemetery - 7241 Jane Street, Concord, Ontario, followed by a reception at Humberlea Worship Centre Reception Hall. All are welcome to join in this Celebration of Life.
