Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Krishna Devi to whom he was married for over 49 years; beloved sons, Harpreet and Tom; daughter-in-law, Narinder; grandchildren, Ikam and Asees; siblings, Gurdeep, Gurbachan, Partap, Amar, Harbans Singh, Harbans Kaur and Surinder, extended family, countless friends who will also deeply miss Joginder’s presence. Joginder was born April 4, 1953, in Hoshiarpur, India to the late Amrik Singh and the late Gian Kaur. He is the 3rd eldest of 8 children. He immigrated to Leicester, England with his family as a teenager and continued his studies. He graduated from Westcotes Secondary School in Leicester, England in the mid 1960’s. While being employed by Marconi Joginder was recruited by Boeing and immigrated to Montreal, Canada in 1980. After a short stay in Montreal, he moved to Toronto, Ontario and worked for Dehavilland/Bombardier for over 35 years as a Machinist. He was immensely proud of his successful career at Dehavilland/Bombardier where he developed lifelong friendships with his colleagues. On company family days, he would take his family, later his grandkids to proudly show where he worked and what he did. His love for aircraft was passed down to his children and grandchildren. Joginder had several passions, one of which was airplanes. He loved his Jack Daniels whisky. He enjoyed his long walks in the Rouge Valley and stayed up to date on current events. His biggest passion was his family. He adored his grandkids. He will always be remembered as a generous, thoughtful, and loving grandfather, father, husband, brother, uncle, and friend.
