Narais Narine Mangal also known as Carl Mangal was welcomed into this world on the sunrise of 17th September 1942, in Kitty Village of Greater Georgetown, British Guyana (now known as Guyana). He came from a family of ten children of which five have met their sunset at various times - these include brothers Neil, Michael, Gary, Karma, and sister Leila. Today there are four surviving siblings who include brothers Gilley and Vejay and sisters Gloria and Rena.
At the age of 79, surrounded by his loving family, Narais passed away peacefully at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in Toronto on 26th November 2021. Narais is survived by his wife Seeta, 3 children Nadeira, Indira and Navin and 5 grandchildren Graham, Nolan, Cameron, Niles and Vodi.
Narais was a generous man, an avid gardener and fisherman who enjoyed travelling and was a proud member of his community. He will be in our hearts and forever cherished by friends and relatives worldwide.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre would be greatly appreciated.
