Our dad, Soogrim Ramotar was born 3 August 1931 in British Guiana. His father often spoke of his dreams for family when they'd go to their farm. Unfortunately, he passed in our father's lap at the age of 15. Our father was Sug to Agie, Sug to his eldest brother Samaroo and Dada Sug to his younger brothers & sisters whom he loved. He was Mamoo Sug, Chacha Sug and Uncle Sug. However, for our mother (Rodha), he was the love of her life. They shared 67 years and worked tirelessly to provide a priviledge future for their six children (2 sons & 4 daughters). In 1975, with his brother Victor sponsorship, we came to Canada. Imagine, 6 children ages 9 to 21 to start over in another country. Again, you worked to provide for your family. You gave us the world and in turn you were blessed to see it with the love of your life. You've lived a full life, fortunate to see grandchildren and great grandchildren
Sadly, your time with us ended on 17 December 2021.
Dad, for us, you were like the Sun that quietly warms the Earth. We will miss you dearly. Love you always. God's speed.
