Obituary of Rosalind Sonia Roopchan

Rosalind Roopchan age 78 loving mother of five, wife of Roopchan Ramoutar passed away on February 3rd. Rosalind was born on September 2nd 1944 in Trinidad and Tobago and grew up surrounded by her loving family. Rosalind was a devoted woman, always giving her time to others. Rosalind integrated her morals and values into her motherhood. As a mother she was determined, generous, and full of ambition. When Rosalind learnt she was a grandmother she was absolutely enthralled by her growing family. She flew from Trinidad to see her first grandchild and couldn’t wait to see her growing family get bigger. In Rosalind’s free time she would teach her grandchildren how to cook, tell us stories and enjoyed playing with her grandchildren. Rosalind would be greatly missed by her five children Cindy, Charlene, Geeta, Mehindra and Steve as well as her daughter and son in-laws , Vindra, Lutchmi ,Kamal, Mickey, Andy and four grand son in laws , Andy , Dennis, Tony, and Ryan. Her four great grandsons Benjamin, Ethan, Bradley and Evan who love and adore her with all their hearts. Goodbye to a wonderful woman and a loving mother. We know we can’t keep you. A million times I’ve needed you a million times I’ve cried, if love alone could have saved you you never would have died. In life we loved you dearly, in death I love you still. In my heart you hold a place, no one else can ever fill. It broke our hearts to loose you, but you didn’t go alone part of me went with you, the day god took you home. There will be a service for those who would like to say their last goodbye to Rosalind on February 9th at 3 pm, Lotus funeral home.
