Obituary of Mahendrakumar Sholanki

Mahendra (Michael) Kumar passed away on February 5th, 2022. He is survived by his loving wife Lila and their children:
Roger, daughter-in-law Judy,
Jaisri, son-in-law Rajesh,
Chetan, daughter-in-law Ekta,
Grandchildren, Rishi (Lylah), Dillon, Priya (Anish), Jaden, Nikhil and two loving great grandchildren Kaeden & Kasia.
Mahendra was born in Navsari, India on May 12, 1943. At the age of 10 he moved to Suva, Fiji Island. At the age of 21 he married Lila and then migrated to Canada. Soon after, his wife Lila joined him in Canada in 1965 with their first born son Roger.
With his skills in tailoring, Mahendra set up a dress shop on Spadina Avenue, just as business was picking up a life changing event happened which caused him to change his career. He studied finance and eventually became a successful Financial Advisor. Mahendra lived a full and happy life, traveled to many corners of the world and tremendously enjoyed spending time with his family who were his pride and joy.
He will be sadly missed.

Due to the current restrictions, we can allow up to 90 people in the service hall at one time. Infants and Children are a part of that number. Guests are welcomed by invitation only and a guest list must be provided prior to visitation. Unfortunately, food and beverages are not permitted at this time. Please note that masks are to be worn at all times while in the building as well as sanitizing of hands upon entry.
