Age 80 of Mississauga, Ontario formerly of Mahaica and Berbice, Guyana passed away peacefully on March 22, 2022 at the Credit Valley Hospital. Dharma (Boodo) was the oldest surviving child of his parents Pandit Oudit Narine Persaud and mother Paramdai Persaud of Cane Grove, ECD. Dharma is preceded in death by his only sister Bhagwandai Parsram and his two brothers Bram Narine Persaud & Sase Narine Persaud. He is the grandson of the late Pandit & Mrs Ramprashad Maraj of Mahaica, ECD. He is also the nephew of the late Ganesh Persaud, Vishnu, Maharanie Rambharose and Aunty Mamas of Kitchener and Guyana. He is the son-in-law of the late Mr. & Mrs Nandlall of No. 58 Village, Berbice, Guyana. He is survived by his wife Dai (Deomattie), his four children Shanti, Ishwar (Priya), Bimal (Amar), Urmila (Herman) and by his 9 grandchildren: Shawn (Sangeeta), Adena, Kevin, Cassandra, Nicholas, Brittny, Brandon, Sashin, and Ajay. Visitation will be held at Lotus Funeral Home located at 121 City View Drive, Etobicoke, ON. Canada from 6.00 PM to 9.00 PM, Friday March 25, 2022. A funeral service shall also be held at the said Lotus Funeral Home (T: 647-547-8188) between 3.00PM - 5.00 PM, on Saturday March 26, 2022. Cremation to follow the funeral services.
