Obituary of Benjamin Kwame Fiachie
Please share a memory of Benjamin to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Benjamin Kwame Fiachie, a lifetime carpenter and handyman by trade, was born on May 15, 1952 in Dwinyama, Ghana. Back home he was raised with five brothers and four sisters, for a total of ten children, Benjamin being the seventh child. He learned the Truth of God's Word soon after he finished high school and was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on December 27, 1973. He later pioneered for many years and had the privilege of serving as a ministerial servant.
He left Ghana as a young adult travelling to multiple countries including India, Indonesia & Egypt, where he lived in Cairo for 2 years. Eventually, he made his way to Toronto, Canada in January of 1987. He then married the love of his life, Francisca in Dwinyama, Ghana on March 23,1990, to a woman he knew from his youth. Together they raised two boys Isaac & Seth, in the Truth serving Jehovah together until his very end.
Many will remember Benjamin for being hospitable, his love of a good BBQ, and always being ready to lend a helping hand to others. Most importantly though, we will remember his love for his God Jehovah and his Zeal for the ministry. He will be truly missed. His family and friends are patiently waiting for their hope of God's Kingdom to come, where they will be able to see their Husband, Father, Grandfather, Uncle & Friend, in Paradise.
