You seldom meet people in your life who can kindle a passion in your heart because of the same passion they demonstrate in their own life. Marvin was that to so many people - to our family. He was an advocate of the gospel, a true ambassador of Christ, a loyal friend, and a loving father. May these thoughts from those of us whose lives he had touched provide some ease in our pain, especially to his parents, his siblings, and to his children he loved so much.
To our beloved brother, co-pastor, and dearest friend in the Lord's work, see you soon in God's appointed time. We're heartbroken to see you go, but we know we shall see you again someday. We love you and miss you so much!
We ask God to embrace the Catanus family, especially his children, with enduring comfort for the days ahead. We are holding you close in our prayers.
