ROOPNARINE VALMIKI HARRIPERSAD (VIC)
SUNRISE: AUGUST 25'' 1968 - SUNSET: SEPTEMBER 11''. 2022
Vic, passed-away peacefully at Matthews House Hospice in Alliston, Ontario, Canada on Sunday, September 11, 2022 after a courageous and inspirational battle with Stage 4 Stomach Cancer, diagnosed in February of 2022.
Formerly of Barrackpore,Trinidad and Tobago, vic worked for many years at City of Toronto. Beloved and devoted husband of Debbie, father of Kavita, Ajay and his Good ole Pal Bruno.
Son of the late ‘Harry' and Jasso. Loving Brother to 11 siblings. Uncle, Friend and Mentor of many
Vic taught us about sacrifice through his selfless dedicationt to his family and friends. He would embrace his Trinidadian and the wider West Indian community who came to Canada. Vic cared deeply for all whom he came into contact with him. He was a stickler for detail and even in his most challenging of times continued to be an uplifting and positive husband and father.
His two children were his joy, his commitment, and he would generously extend that joy and commitment to his treasured wife of 30 years.
Vic was someone who always made everyone laugh with his jokes, dance moves, and one liners. Vic: you are irreplaceable, you set the bar high. You will be sorely and deeply missed.
His Memorial Service (Antyeshti Sanskaara) will be held on:
