Obituary of Damien MJ Rouse

The family has requested that those who will be present at the Funeral Home be dressed casually. 

Damien Michael James Rouse passed away tragically on April 27, 2023. He was only 18 years old. His family is deeply saddened by his sudden death. Damien was born on May 21, 2004.

Damien is survived by his father Robert Young and his father James Rouse (Dan Berube), his sister Katrina Young, and his step – siblings, Elizabeth, Jazlyn, and Sylar and his beautiful girlfriend Mackenzie Liddle. Forever remembered by his Uncle David Young, Aunt Mary Young, and his self-proclaimed Uncle Jay and Auntie Ally. Damien will also be missed by many cousins and friends who loved him dearly.

Damien was predeceased by his grandparents Eleanor and Andrew Young as well as Donald Rouse and the person who he called his “memere” Dianne Hamelin.

Damien was a fun spirited soul who took many passions in life, and ultimately did whatever he wanted to do. He didn’t let anyone hold him back. His everlasting, undying bond with his “Daddy Rob” was one that could not be broken by anyone or anything.  When Damien would go up north to visit his “Daddy James” they would enjoy their time together by going fishing, quadding, and playing video games. Damien also enjoyed spending time (hanging out) with his sister and step siblings, and extended family. He was quite popular when he visited, and he sure knew it. His love for his girlfriend Kenzie was so young and fresh but you knew it was real, the two made a great pair and some would say “they were made for each other”.

Damien should be described as a ‘rebel with a cause’ because that boy was fearless and stood his ground no matter what anyone said. The truth is, Damien had a heart as pure as a piece of solid gold and if he loved you, he loved you with all his might. He made an impact on many lives. Until we meet again, forever loved, forever missed!
