Obituary of Yog Raj Sharma

It’s with immense sadness that we announce the passing of Yog Raj Sharma on June 4, 2023 in
Mississauga, Canada. Often referred to as a Gentleman by his peers, he was a “Man of the World”
spending many of his early years travelling the world while working for British Airways and using the
immense knowledge he gained during that time to pass wisdom on to his family and friends. Born in
India in 1941, he moved to England in 1963, and finally to Canada in 1972 to provide for a better future
for him and his family. His jovial, fun, loving, and social spirit will be part of his lasting legacy.

He will be profoundly missed by his beloved wife of 52 years, Kiran, his son Navdeep (Dolly), his
daughter Mala (Paul), and his three beautiful granddaughters, Naya, Shayna, and Valentina.
Predeceased by his parents Devi Ditti Mal and Kaushalya Sharma, and his siblings Kamala, Inder,
Santosh, and Dev, he leaves his sisters Raj, Satish, and Kashama. The family is very appreciative of the
love and support received from our family and friends during his illness and in the days since his passing.

Those wishing to pay their final respects may join the family at Lotus Funeral and Cremation Centre in
Toronto on Thursday, June 8 th from 11am to 1pm. In lieu of flowers, the family would be appreciative of
