Obituary of Victor Bhodnarayan Jhagru
After a fierce battle with pancreatic cancer, we are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Victor Bodhnarayan Jhagru at Scarborough General Hospital on August 27, 2023.
Victor was born on June 22, 1966 in Georgetown, Guyana to Bhagwandin and Enwantie Jhagru. He served as Customs and Excise Officer in the 80s where he met his wife Leah. In 2001 he moved to Toronto, Canada and worked as a manager at Shell for over 20 years.
Anyone who has had the pleasure of knowing Victor will always remember his warmth, kindness and selflessness. His energetic spirit lit up any room he walked into, and he was always the life of the party.
He is survived by his wife Leah, 2 daughters Angelique and Vikeeta, 4 brothers, 2 sisters, and countless cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
His celebration of life will be held from 3:00 pm - 6:00pm on Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at Lotus Funeral and Cremation Centre.
