There are no words to describe what Auntie meant to me. She was a constant presence in my life always and treated me as her daughter. She was so loving, caring and gentle.
She was deeply religious and was present at any function that we had. She always asked me to sing a bhajan for her when we met.
Auntie was always concerned about my well being. The last time I spoke with her, I reassured her and told her how much I loved her. I will miss her very much but know she lives on in my heart and she is watching over me.
I am comforted by the holy words in the Bhagavad Gita chapter 2 verse 2.13 to 2.30 which talks about the eternal nature of the soul. It says "The Soul is eternal and indestructible, the Owner of the body is unlimited; Never It's born nor does It ever die, Unborn and eternal, permanent and primeval, At the death of the body, It does last; Remaining the same forever, It's All-pervading, unchanging and immovable."
