It is with heavy heart I write this , many days, weeks after receiving the still shocking news of Sunita's passing. Attending your funeral felt totally unreal.
Sunita was my childhood friend. My fellow dreamer and someone who got me , the way I got her. I remember our parents having 1001 get togethers at each others houses, Plattsburg beach etc. We always played with total abandonment when life was carefree and full of 1000 possibilities . We played dress up with clothes and heels by rummaging through our mothers things. We talked of wedding dresses and the eventual big day. We married months apart . Had our first child months apart. Sunita always wanted a big family and I though she was very nuts or very brave. Over the years our friendship remained but got relegated to the token birthday or mother day wishes. We talked of getting together and reconnecting and yet life's path was not obvious or clear to either one of us. Sunita you will remain in my heart and my thoughts and I know I will never stop missing you. To your beautiful daughters, a mum can never be replaced but please take solace in the fact that a part of her is in each and every one of you. With heavy heart I wish you peace in your onward journey, I love you and will always miss you my beautiful friend.

I was so blessed to meet Miti and feel the love and kindness you generously shared to all. Gone to soon but never forgotten. I pray that God gives all the family the strength and courage to carry on with you always in their hearts.
