Obituary of Christine Joy MacFarlane
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Christine Joy MacFarlane, born May 25th 1964, at the age of 59.
She passed after a brief battle with cancer surrounded by her family at the Joseph Brant Hospital on October 26th, 2023.
Christine was the youngest of six siblings, and the only girl. She was a dedicated hard working single mother who lived to provide for her sons. She loved spending time with her family and often hosted our family poker games night. She played a major role in all our family reunions, picnics and important celebrations. Her smile and laughter were infectious. No future gathering will be the same without her.
Christine is predeceaced by her parents Doreen Faye Milton (1995) and Philip Wendall MacFarlane (2014) and her oldest brother Rand Carl MacFarlane (2014). Christine leaves behind her 2 sons, Tyler Richard Ryan and Cory Austin Ryan. As well as the boy's father Gordon Ryan. Her four Brothers Stephen Philip MacFarlane, Mark Ingram MacFarlane, Kevin Allan MacFarlane and Craig Andrew MacFarlane. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.
She was taken from us way too soon and leaves a wound in the family too large to heal.
She will be forever in our hearts and sorely missed.
There will be a Celebration of Life at the Burlington Lions Club,
471 Pearl Street, Burlington, Ontario.
Sunday November 12th, 2023 Between 1PM and 5PM
Non alcoholic refreshments and snacks will be provided.
