Obituary
Surajdai, fondly known as Betty, formerly of Annandale, East Coast Demerara, Guyana died on Friday,
January 26, 2024. She was married to the late Mahadeo (Dadool or Raja) Persaud. She was the mother
of Rattandai (Dharampaul) Ramdat, Ruby (Nauth) Tewari, Krishna (Tina) Persaud, Ganesh (Sano)
Persaud, Sandy (Stephen) Lachmansingh and the late Sita, Basdai, Brahman and Leenie. She was the
grandmother of nine and great-grandmother of seven.
The family sincerely thanks relatives and friends for sharing in our sorrow. Special thanks to the
management and staff of Seven Oaks Long-Term Care Home.
Visitation will take place on Sunday, January 28, 2024 at 6:00pm – 9:00pm
Funeral service followed by cremation on Monday, January 29, 2024 at 6:00am – 8:00am.
