My condolences to Vernon's family. I worked with Vernon at Bombardier Flight Operations, when he worked at Dispatch. I retired in 2014 and remember that it was a pleasure to work with him. He always had a big smile and joked around at times. I was shocked and saddened to hear of his passing. May the happy memories and time comfort you in your loss.

Our deepest condolences to Leela, Avalee, Aliesha, and the extended family. Although we only ran into each infrequently, it was always a joy to chat with Vernon. He was always so upbeat and positive. We will miss his lively and jovial personality. Our prayers are with the entire family. May his soul rest in eternal peace.

My deepest condolences to Leela, Avalee, Alisha, master Avery and the entire Dowlath family. I am pleased that I got the opportunity to see Vernon on two separate occasions in Trinidad. The last one was when he and his family was by Rose and Kala. In my interactions with him, he was friendly with a ready smile and a jovial spirit as he related his experiences.
We never lose the ones we love because once they live in our hearts, they will always be in our memories. It is those memories that comfort and sustain us in the weeks and months ahead.
May God continue to strengthen you all during this time of grief as Vernon rests in the arms of our Lord.

Uncle Vernon lived with my grandmother until he migrated to Canada over 20 years ago, and we enjoyed spending vacations at their house. His children were in our age group, and we spent many hours playing together.
I will always remember Uncle Vernon's laugh and pleasant personality. Like all Dowlath men, he was LOUD when he ready, especially when he was making a point about something he was passionate about. When Daddy got sick, Uncle Vernon was one of the siblings who would consistently call to check up on him and chat with him. When Daddy died, Uncle Vernon continued to reach out to me and Mummy on a regular basis.
Uncle Vernon suffered many health challenges throughout his life. He had major surgery in 2021, but this never dampened his spirits. After his hospitalizations, he would get right back into life with all the vigour and strength he had. He had a strong faith in God, and would always let us know that he was praying for us. When our country's borders finally reopened, he made sure to come and visit us. He insisted on buying food for us to eat, because he said if he was living here, he would have made sure to feed us. Such was his generosity.
I will miss him a lot, but I look forward to the day we get to meet again on the other side of eternity.

I work with him at Dehavilland/Bombardier for 10 years, he was great at his job, aircraft traffic control.

Sincere condolences to the Dowlath Family.
Life is unfair. Especially for those who did not know or called Vernon a friend. I will cherish my bond with him over 43 years. At times, the bond was strong and other times it was weakened but never broken. The bond withstood time, distance, good and bad health, living in little villages to living in large metropolitan areas, from Pong to Internet. Vernon was always up for a good lime and made every effort to connect with friends. You know, Vernon loved to chat. We talked about so many topics, even when we had poor health and could not meet in person we would phone each other and carry on with discussing and solving the world’s issues.
I had many conversations with Vernon and one topic was always how grateful he was for his beautiful and caring wife and daughters; something we both have in common. Vernon adored his family and took every means to make them his priority and take care of them. Life is a cycle and at the end, it was they who would be taking caring of him. I know God will richly bless his family for taking care of him when his health failed.
I wish we had more time with Vernon. I will miss you but I know this is not the end of our bond. Take care and keep in touch, we will catch up later.

Sincerest condolences to the Dowlath family. Vernon was a schoolmate at Naparima College and then my Air Traffic Controller coursemate on ATC Course #21. Many fond memories of our time together. Vernon was an advocate for workers rights and was actively involved in the Aviation Officers Section of the Public Services Association. He was instrumental in getting just recognition and better pay and working conditions for Controllers. Vernon was very fortnight and outspoken with his views yet respectful of others. His family meant a lot to him and he loved sports. I remember him playing cricket at NAPS. Rest in Eternal Peace Vernon. You will be missed......Curtis
