BIOGRAPHY OF THE LATE GEORGINA ANTWIWAA GYAN

Georgina Antwiwaa Gyan was born in 1957 at Essuowin, so the almighty God bless her with 67years. Georgina was a daughter of Opanin Gyan and Ama Serwaa, Georgina was in the mix of two boys, and as such she was very strong/hardened, she was popularly called by her late Grandmother (the late Ama Bio) Georgina eeeiiii, so was also known by the entire town of Essuowin.

After completing her elementary school, her mother took her from the town to continue her life at Kwadaso Kumasi. Because of the attraction, romantic and beauty of our beloved Georgina, she traveled early to one of the most advanced countries in the world ie Canada and spent her entire life over there.

She stayed there for about 37 years and became a citizen of Canada and it was in Canada God blessed her with four promising children. Georgina was a very sociable lady having many family and friends: amongst them were Nana Prempeh (USA), Nana Osei Mensah Bonsu (Canada), Kwaku Boakye Kissinger (Canada), Ataa serwaa (Canada), Bernice Bonsu (Canada), Julie Kwakye-Nuako, to name a few.

Amongst these friends was our dearest Georgina drawing inspiration and advice from. Georgina was very loving and admirable by all who see her or happens to meet her because of her beauty and God fearing nature God blessed her with.

Dearest Georgina, you have created a vacuum which your beloved family will find it very difficult to replace.  May the Almighty God handle you perfect as the entire family, children and friends handled you as you leave us to the bosom of the Almighty God.
