Obituary of Harjinder Kaur Grewal

The Late Sardani Harjinder Kaur Grewal (1924-2024) passed away Friday, April 5th, 2024, in Brampton, ON, Canada at the age of  99. She was born on October 8, 1924 in Madpur, Ludhiana, Punjab, India to the Late Sadar Gulab Singh Benipal and Late Baso Kaur Benipal, and  the last of her siblings to three sisters. She was married to The Late Sadar Jagir Singh Grewal who preceded her in passing in 1975.

Officially known as”BIBI” and the eldest Grewal member, she loved life and all of the beauty that came with it. A  selfless woman well ahead of her time who exerted strength, power and love so unconditional it was almost imaginary. The backbone of the Grewal family, she impacted everyone who had the pleasure of meeting her. Bibi’s smile, obsessive hygiene routine and little habits will be forever cherished by her loved ones. Her grace and overwhelming affection will be dearly missed. 

At the ripe age of 99, she is survived by her 5 sons, 18 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren, along with many other family members in Canada, India and the USA.
