I worked with Nicky for many years and I know that her kindness and generosity was felt by so many people.
Every holiday season I could not wait to have a taste of her ginger beer and sorrel drink along with all the other delicious treats.

We were neighbours of Nikki and Gary. Nikki always greeted my children with such warmth and love every time they walked by. My daughter was often less than friendly as was her stubborn ways and Nikki was never bothered by it. Her graciousness, kindness, understanding, and warmth always shone through. She will be missed. She was a generously bright light in the neighbourhood.

Nicky and I were cousins, and I am so sorry that our paths as cousins never crossed once we left Trinidad, Nicky for Canada and me for London. I have lovely memories of our childhood days, and whenever we cousins reminisced we asked about her..She will remain in my thoughts..May she rest in peace.. I worked with Nicola for a number of years. I remember her smile, her soft voice and her always asking about my Mom and family. She will be sorely missed. This earth have lost an angel and she has gained her wings. So my friend soar and brighten up your final resting place. Nicky was my cousin and I am fortunate to have known such a gentle and generous soul. She was a loving spouse and mother and loved her family dearly. I will miss our chats and wished we had more time together. She will be sadly missed by everyone that loved her.

Dear most beautiful Nicky,
Words cannot express how saddened I am that we will no longer be able to see your beautiful face and interact with your beautiful person.
I have known you all my working life and even though we didn’t spend every working day together, our encounters were always fun, loving, and genuine, and that is because you are a fun, loving and genuine person. We would always have something to talk about ‘home’, Trinidad, and you always had good information for me.
Your kindness to others knew no boundaries. This was expressed both in your professional and personal life. At work you serviced, and cared for your clients the way you would a family member, and you took great pride in your work and the company you worked for, always giving 110%, hence you were highly respected and relied upon for good advice and mentorship. In your personal life, family meant everything to you especially Gary and Garvin. Those in your family and friend circle enjoyed basking in your warmth, love, and goodness, enjoying all that you are, and all that you do.
You are a kind and gentle spiritual being Nicky, wherein you embraced the teachings of many religious beliefs and cultures, seeing them as one. And in the end, you were blessed by God ‘s presence in the form of the prayers you listened to as one of the last acts you did while on this earth. This will certainly take you to a far better place.
I pray God’s blessing be upon your beautiful soul. May you enjoy peace and comfort in the arms of your all-loving Father. You will be greatly missed but your Father happily welcomes you home.

As we pay tribute to a remarkable individual who was not only a friend, but also a colleague, a teammate and a mentor.
Nicola was a fun, loving and generous person, always ready to help others when needed. She was a patient listener, has the incredible talent in solving problems, and she has all the right answers!
Every Christmas, she bought us home-made Rum Cakes and Eggnog. I remembered the first time I had her Rum Cakes, they were delicious and tasted like heaven! I was completely wrecked for couples of hours!
To Nicola, my dear friend and colleague, thank you for the privilege of knowing you and for the time we share at work. We remember you not just the moments we shared but the enduring spirit that made them unforgettable!
Your memory will live on in our heart!

I worked with Nicola for over 20 years - she as well as Gary and Garvin - were like family. I loved her like a sister and will miss her dearly - I can’t even describe how much she meant to me. I will miss her laugh, her smile, her ginger beer, the sound of her voice. Rest in Peace my friend.
