A Life of Love and Legacy
In the quiet echoes of time gone by,
Grandma spoke of brotherly love so high,
A bond unbroken, pure and true,
A love as endless as the skies of blue.
"Will your brotherly love be like my brother's?" she'd say,
A timeless question that still lingers today.
For in the hearts of those who knew,
The love she cherished only grew.
Mother's uncle, strong and kind,
In his care, she’d always find.
A bond like no other, deep and wide,
His love steadfast, forever by her side
And now we stand, hearts heavy and low,
As Grandpa's journey comes to a close.
The man who stood through love's sweet strife,
The pillar of our family life.
Today we mourn, with tears in our eyes,
But in our hearts, his legacy lies.
We pray for peace, for strength, for grace,
As we remember his warm embrace.
May he find rest, in a place of light,
Where love and peace are forever bright.
And as we say our last goodbye,
His love will guide us, as the stars in the sky.
