In Loving Memory of Lolita Prashad (December 16, 1950 – October 2, 2024)

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lolita Prashad, who left us on October 2nd,

2024, surrounded by the love of her family. At 73 years old, Lolita lived a life filled with kindness,

generosity, and unwavering love for those around her.

Lolita was the devoted wife of Narine Prashad and the cherished mother of Ravi, Kavita, and Chris. She

embraced her daughter-in-law, Hideko, as part of her immediate family, and their bond was one of deep

mutual respect and affection. As a grandmother, Lolita’s heart was filled with love for Kiara, Christian,

Melody, Vanessa, and Arianna, who will forever hold her close in their memories.  

Lolita was also a beloved sister to Shirley, Micheal, Compton, Barlo, David, Chriso, Shanta, Rita, Basil

and Sonson. Her deep bond with her siblings was a testament to her unwavering loyalty and compassion,

and they will miss her dearly.

Lolita touched countless lives with her compassion and kindness. Whether through a quiet word of

comfort, a radiant smile, or her steady and loving support, she made everyone feel valued and cherished.

Her passing leaves an irreplaceable void, but her legacy of love and generosity will continue to inspire us.

Lolita will be profoundly missed by all who knew her, but her spirit lives on in the hearts of those who

loved her. We are eternally grateful for the time we shared with her. 

Rest in peace, Mom, Aji, Lal. You will always be in our hearts and thoughts, always loved, and forever

missed.
