Obituary of Humayun Mohajer

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Humayun Mohajer, who left us peacefully on November 21, 2024, at Mackenzie Health Hospital in Richmond Hill, Ontario, at the age of 86.

Born on September 8, 1938, in Pune, India, Humayun lived a life defined by dedication, warmth, and love. He was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Parvin Mohajer, and a cherished father to his sons, Masood Mohajer and Mehdi Mohajer. Humayun’s gentle spirit and kind heart touched all who had the privilege of knowing him, and his absence leaves a deep void in our hearts.

Humayun built a distinguished career in the hotel industry, where his professionalism, integrity, and graciousness enriched the experiences of countless guests and colleagues.

He was predeceased by his loving parents, Abolqassem Mohajer and Nazareh Hashemizadeh, whose values and love shaped the man he became.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 25, 2024, at 12:00 p.m. at the Lotus Funeral and Cremation Centre, followed by a cremation service at 1:00 p.m.
