Obituary of Capil Ramkay

With heavy hearts, we gather to mourn the passing of Capil Surujnarine Ramkay, who left us on
November 27, 2024, in Toronto, Ontario, at the age of 91. Capil wasn’t just a remarkable
individual; he was a source of love and strength for so many in our family, leaving a lasting mark
through his kindness and generosity.
Born on August 2, 1933, in Curepe, Trinidad and Tobago, Capil was the cherished son of Peter
and Basso Ramkay. His life was a testament to the bonds of family and friendship, and he will
be deeply missed.
