Obituary of Terathdai Dhanraj
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend Terathdai Lucille Dhanraj who passed away peacefully in her sleep on December 20th, 2024.
Born on August 11th, 1940 in Bel Air, Guyana to loving parents Sadhu and Magwattie Hazarie, sister of Jaiwattie (late), Kusma (late), Jeraji (late), Deoram (late), Tulsiram (late), Motiram (late), Violet, Basdeo, Seloch, Rajmattie (late), late Neilwattie and Parbattie, wife of the late Harry Naraine, mother of Sona (late), Sohan, Seeta, Sattie, and Sandy (Baby) and grandmother of Felicia, Christopher, Natasha, Raju, Britney, Karishma, Brianna, Leysha.
Lucille is recognized by all as a strong, hardworking woman, dedicated wife, loving mother and grandmother and devoted Hindu. She will be remembered for her generosity, kindness, belly laugh, and fierce spirit.
May Mother Durga continue to bless, guide and protect her soul. May she find peace in her next birth. The family would like to express their gratitude to all who have supported us during this difficult time.
We invite everyone who knew, loved and respected Lucille to the wake, funeral and celebration of life.
