Obituary of Harbans Dhiman

It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Harbans Lal Dhiman of Markham, Ontario, on Friday December 27, 2024 at the age of 91. He was a loving husband, beloved father, father-in-law, cherished grandfather and great-grandfather, and admired brother. Harbans Lal will be deeply missed by all those near and dear to him, especially by his devoted wife Hardev Rani (nee Plaha) of 65 years, his children Mani Mala (Amritpal), Ramla (late Kuljeet), Jaswant (Manjeet), and Harish (Rajinder). He was adored by his 9 grandchildren Keshia (Aman), Dalvir (Mandy), Akaash (Stephanie), Ranvir (Ruby), Jasneet (Kabir), Anjana, Chandan, Jeevan, and Saajan. Proud great-grandfather to Sehej, Baaz, Ria, and Nyla. He was born in Kartarpur, India, on August 27, 1933. Harbans Lal is predeceased by his parents Karam Chand and Pali Dey. He is survived by his large and loving family, including sisters, a brother, and many nephews and nieces. Harbans Lal cared deeply for his family, a steady presence and unwavering source of support. Warmth, kindness, a life well lived, he will be remembered with love and gratitude, leaving behind a legacy that will be forever treasured.
